1. Purpose and Scope

This policy establishes the mandatory standards, procedures, and responsibilities for publishing all content on Bizoso Consulta's public websites (www.bizoso.ca, etc.) and all country-specific domains (e.g., en-uk,us,bh,pk,in,my). The goal is to ensure the content is accurate, consistent, legally compliant, and aligned with the company’s brand and communication strategy.

2. Content Standards and Quality

All content published on the website must adhere to the following standards:

Accuracy & Currency All factual statements must be verifiable, and information (e.g., pricing, policy dates) must be current. Obsolete or misleading content must be removed or archived immediately upon discovery. Content Coordinators/Site Owners
Clarity & Tone Content must be written in clear, professional language, free of typographical and grammatical errors. The tone must be consistent with Bizoso Consulta's professional brand identity. Content Authors/Editors
Accessibility All content must comply with basic web accessibility guidelines (e.g., proper alt-text for images, sufficient color contrast) to ensure all users can access the information. Web Development/Content Authors
Non-Discrimination Content must not contain or link to any material that is offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory based on race, gender, religion, or nationality. All Employees

3. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Compliance with all applicable laws is non-negotiable for all published content.

  • Copyright & Intellectual Property:

    • Content (including text, images, videos, and logos) must not be published without explicit written consent from the copyright holder.

    • All internal teams must use licensed or original material only. Proper attribution must be provided where required.

  • Disclaimers:

    • A prominent, legally approved disclaimer (e.g., "This is not legal advice") must be included on all pages that offer general guidance or professional commentary, particularly on legal or immigration services.

    • Linking to third-party sites does not constitute an endorsement. A separate Linking Policy disclaimer must be used to clarify that Bizoso Consulta is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of external websites.

  • Policy Links: All website footers and relevant entry points must contain clear, visible links to all active legal policies, including the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy.

4. Roles and Responsibilities for Publishing

Role Responsibility
Content Author (Staff creating drafts) Responsible for content accuracy, compliance with Section 2, and submitting content to the Coordinator.
Content Coordinator (Departmental Lead) Responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and formally approving all content for their section before submission to the Final Approver. They are the Site Owner for legal accountability.
Legal/Compliance Team (Final Approver) Responsible for mandatory final review and approval of all new policies, material legal disclaimers, and any content that directly addresses regulatory matters. No legal content is published without their sign-off.
Web Master/IT Responsible for technical deployment, security, maintenance of the Content Management System (CMS), and ensuring the live site mirrors the approved content.

5. Publishing and Maintenance Procedure

  1. Creation: Content is drafted by the Content Author.

  2. Review & Vetting: The Content Coordinator reviews for accuracy, tone, and currency.

  3. Legal Approval: Content with legal implications (e.g., new service terms, policy updates) is sent to the Legal/Compliance Team for final sign-off.

  4. Technical Deployment: The Web Master uploads the approved content to a secure staging environment.

  5. Final Check: The Content Coordinator verifies the content's appearance and functionality on the live URL before making it public.

  6. Periodic Audit: All published content must be reviewed by the Content Coordinator at least bi-annually (every six months) to ensure continuing accuracy and compliance.

6. Violations and Enforcement

Any employee who publishes content in violation of this policy, particularly content that breaches intellectual property rights, violates non-discrimination clauses, or exposes the company to legal liability, will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

7. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis or immediately following any significant changes in international or electronic crimes, or data protection legislation.
